Eastman公司松脂业务如何顺应其长期战略

Eastman公司不会从事偶然的松脂业务；从Eastman公司过去的历史可以看出，任何商业活动，都是与其长期战略目标密切相配，都有一个非常适合的整体商业动作计划；松脂及其衍生物对于Eastman公司的长期增长具有战略上的重要意义；为此当然也有一个完善的商业动作计划。

Eastman公司的起源

Eastman公司与森工的关系可以追溯至公司成立之初，1920年当George Eastman在Kingsport，Tenn.购买了一间林化精馏厂时便成立了Eastman公司，该工厂生产甲醇，即通常被称之为林醇的产品，其曾用来为柯达制造胶片，在那些地区的硬木材提供了用于林化精馏流程的木料来制造这种甲醇。

1994年Eastman公司脱离了柯达公司；至今发展成为一家国际性的化工公司，生产各种系列的化学制品、塑料、纤维。

Eastman公司收入增长战略

Eastman公司的业务主要集中在涂料、胶粘、聚合物及油墨市场；为实现其收益目标，它有四个不同的长期的策略：

l 收购及联合投资----补充及完善经营品种范围；

l 技术发展----创新品种，保持品种的连续性，并提高技术含量 ；

l 全球化----产品供求面向全球客户；

l 资源共享----资源优化配置与整合，统一协调生产与市场的关系；

关于松化产品，Eastman通过在美国、欧洲、拉丁美洲的生产场所以及补充性生产与技术线的商业协作，而使关系更自然，并获取了地理上的协作性，统一以一个供应商更好地满足客户的定式需求，使客户从中受益，而且实现规模经济、单点联络及流水式行政处理作业。

Eastman公司的收购合并活动

自1996开始，Eastman就积极开始从事收购活动以使其实现长期目标。经过约五年左右的运作，已有许多相关公司及厂家并入了Eastman家族（见附表），收购合并运作给Eastman及各方都带来各种好处。

Eastman公司的林产资源

在购并运作之前，Eastman的林产工业基本以松化工业为主，包括纤维产品；以下三种产品家族是购并而得：

l 浮油脂酸（TOFA）

来自Hercules的产品及生产设备带来了制造浮油脂酸的能力，其在内部作为由Mcwhorter收购带来的生产涂料树脂的重要原料或用于商业市场，该浮油脂酸产品也更多被升级为Pamolyn[R]油酸及亚油酸类脂酸系列产品。

l 浮油松香

产自粗浮油（CTO），浮油松脂用于生产树脂，使其作为我们的胶合剂原料及Lawter油墨、浮油松脂及其衍生物也供应给商业市场。

l 脂松香

Eastman最近在中国的南平市，包括以前通过Hercules公司的Uruapan、墨西哥分厂，进行合资经营脂松香业务；同时，为满足欧洲及美洲对脂松香的需求，Eastman 每年也从世界各地购买大量的脂松香；脂松香是Lawter的油墨树脂生产中的主要原材料；而最近收购的Hercules 所生产的树脂主要用于生产胶粘剂。

Eastman公司的化学部门

松化产品业务主要面向涂料、胶粘剂、特殊聚合物以及油墨等几个部门，通常被称为CASPI，在2000年总收入的47%。

l 涂料、胶合剂、特殊聚合物与油墨

该部门生产许多的专业产品，作为其他产品的关键成分，在颜料、涂料、各种胶粘剂、油墨中被大量应用。

l 胶粘原料供应

Eastman有供应胶粘原料的悠久历史，从Eastotac[R]、Petro-Rez[R]及Regalite[R]碳氢树脂到 Eastman AQ[R]聚酯。

典型的应用包括压敏带及标签、包裹及其它需要用的热溶胶合剂、落板、堵缝及密封胶、随处可见的电线、沥青修饰、漆顶、蜡制混合物。

应用于胶合剂工业的松化产品还包括Foral-E[R]完全氢化松香，Staybelite[R] Ester-E局部氢化松香与Permalyn[R] 3100 TOR松香酯。

Eastman公司的目标

通过日益增进的深入工作，Eastman相信正在使环境、公司、行业共同从中受惠。例如：

l 环境与安全

松脂相当有名，这是由于它们的可再生性；通过对环境的合理保护以及有步骤开发，可以提供源源不断的松脂资源。

公众日益关心环境保护问题，空气、陆地及水污染；过度的能源消耗；固体废物管理以及再回收都是全球关注的重要问题。Eastman也关心这些问题，并通过对人力、技术、资源的综合配置提供良好的解决方案； 2001年加入Eastman家族的Hercules甚至获得了1999至2000年度松化协会颁发的环境安全奖。

l 公司本身

Eastman现在提供工业用大范围的碳氢及松脂树脂衍生物，在胶粘剂市场是排第二名的供应商。

公司利益在于：

1、 综合供应----基本原料供应油墨、涂料及胶粘剂行业。

2、 技术支持----提供应用于胶合剂、油墨及涂料内的关键技术。

3、 市场推广----胶粘剂原料与印刷油墨市场地位。

Eastman从事松化行业是由于Eastman看到了统一协作的好处，Eastman供应Lawter用于制造油墨的浮油树脂以及生产涂料树脂的浮油脂酸。特别在合成碳氢及衍生产品时，也了解在树胶的增效剂及胶粘剂部分的浮油松脂衍生物技术。

l 产业利益

产业利益包括：

1、 全球性的投资及商业增长。随着国际化的增长，Eastman会自动提升产业的国际性定位。

2、 通过发展研究及应用CASPI组织强大能力的创新支持，Eastman会扩展及发展该产业的技术。

3、 Eastman正从事于给客户提供具附加价值的解决方案，从而提供该产业的解决方案。

4、 同时Eastman正致力于并成为应用电子商务作业的领路人，该作业将有利并能应用于这一产业。
